"LES PORTEUSES D'EAUX" Acrylic and Oil on canvas. 81x72cm

                 Echos

On shoulders of love
she holds the balance
of exsistence
Within each droplet carried
the  song of life echos
Like a beautiful sonnet
she sings with it in harmony
      One of strength and grace
     she bares of its weight
     And  smiles  knowingly

Avy was born in Rabat, Morocco where modern urban life effortlessly combines with ancient culture. His early love of painting with oils and pastels, sketching with charcoal, creating ceramic sculptures, and Tiffany's Lamps, led him to formal art training at Betsalel Art School in Jerusalem. Avy completed his higher education degree at the prestigious Ecole Corvisar in Paris, where he studied letter design and calligraphy.

His extraordinary talent for art and impressive education credentials led him to serve as the creative director for a Parisian advertising agency for more than 10 years.

8 years ago, Avy decided to concentrate on his art and moved to Bonaire, where he now paints modern African works, aroused by memories of his boyhood home. In Bonaire, his lifelong dreams were realized when he opened the Cinnamon Art Gallery, in partnership with 4 other talented artists, Jim Platz, Catherine Salisbury,Nina Ledezma

Avy has recently relocated to Florida
and is very excited to invite you not only to his premier art exhibition
in the United States but also to
the ancient Moroccan art “TADELAKT”.

The progressive vision has created an art space to rival any major city. The Cinnamon Art Gallery has become the sizzling spot to showcase local artists and their work.  As seen at the latest exhibit, this gallery has combined Parisian vogue with island style. Anyone who steps into this unique space will find beauty, color, and a new appreciation for art. Like Avy says...:"If I want to go to Paris, I just need to cross the door of "Cinnamon Art Gallery", and I am IN. This is the most beautiful cultural place that we have in Bonaire......"

Je dedicace ce site et l'amour de mon Art a mes deux enfants Laetitia et Yann Benhamron.

ŠAvy Benhamron

In the womb of Mother Africa,
my journey began.
Nourished by the sea and infinite
beauty also called, Morocco, I
found my first inspiration.
Love without limit, vibrant color,
expressive art,
all demonstrate the miracle of living.
Time folds, I learned the
end is also the beginning,
as those before me inspire my next
creation.
To find your soul, go
back to the beginning.
To find your inspiration, fall in love.

By my dearest friend :Sarah Elisabeth Franklin
